A Day of Firsts
Happy Friday everyone! As part of my new year’s resolutions, I challenged myself to try new things and become the best me I can be! With that being said, I stepped out my comfort zone quite a few times today. I went to the tanner, salon, and grabbed a delicious smoothie! Right away this morning I headed to the tanner. This is my first time getting a tan, so I researched all of the salons in the area to find the cleanest one. The price was important, but the cleanliness matter

Shopping in Paradise
After a long week at work, it was definitely time for some therapy... retail therapy of course! I called up my friend Meghan and hit the mall. The mall might not be paradise to some, but it's definitely my favorite place to unwind. I could honestly go shopping every day if I had the money! Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I hope all of you have some amazing parties planned out for tonight. I'm not a huge football fan, so I'll just be spending time with family. After having a crazy winter vortex last week, it's finally starting to warm up in Michigan (even though it's short-lived). Back to School
Happy Thursday everyone! Today's my first day of my winter semester and it's definitely going to be an interesting semester. Since I'm almost done with my program, I'm only taking 6 credits this semester - two Occupational Therapy classes. Both of my classes are on Thursday, which never happens! This is the first time I've never had to be on campus several times a week! I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, but so far I'm pretty okay with it. It's usually pretty chilly on cam

#OOTD: Saturday
Happy Saturday! Today I spent the day running errands while Alex was at work. I went to Plato's Closet/Style Encore to sell some old clothes, Warby Parker to get new glasses, and Athleta to redeem my giftcard. (Thank you Athleta for drawing my name in their giveaway!) I ended up going to a few extra places to kill time and of course spent too much money. However, I did find a really awesome thrift store, so I'll be doing another post later in the week to show you guys my luck

Podcasts for the Soul
If you've never been introduced to the podcast world, that's about to change. I just started listening to podcasts about a year ago and it's become part of my daily routine. Instead of listening to music during long drives, I spend it listening to a motivational podcast. There are several different types of podcasts out there, so looking for the perfect one might be overwhelming until you find what interests you. I, personally, prefer podcasts that make me think about my life
